It was in pain Brian entered the world, and it was in pain he left. All in all, I had him for 24 wonderful years. Even through all the pain, I am glad he was born. I would not choose otherwise, because Brian was a gift from God.
Gifts are meant to be loved and cherished. Then suddenly, I had my gift snatched away; stolen from my heart. But it was not hidden away or buried in the ground. It made its' way to the great lost and found where it was claimed by its' original owner. You see, it was only given to me to enjoy for a season. Now the Great Creator has called for His created. For although Brian felt lost in this world, he is at home with his Savior in the next. In the song 'Amazing Grace' this line sums it all up--"I once was lost, but now I'm found, I was blind, but now I see."
I keep the memories of this gift ever before me; stored deep in my heart until the day my Savior claims me from the lost and found where tears of sorrow will be turned to tears of joy.

Well, my dad just two-wayed me and told me that my brothers tombstone arrived today and was put at the burial site. I can't help but share, that it still brings so much pain when I am faced with talking about him, or thinking about that he's dead. Not every single time, but it really caught me off guard tonite.
...just wanted to share.

Thx Mark.
And you know, it's not really THAT bad, sorta like a pimple. Doesn't really hurt, it's just sorta there for the time being. I just feel it's best to continue to talk about it, as I believe it does help with the healing process.
